Clueless or not

What will you write, if you are clueless? Write whatever comes to your mind. But what if nothing comes to your mind? This feeling of nothingness is not thoughtlessness. You are never devoid of thoughts (well, you have a brain, which never stops). What is happening is that you are not able to find a clue from the pool of chaos filled inside your brain. There are enormous waves of thoughts swimming in the ocean and you have lost direction, neither you have a navigator, nor an albatross to guide your way, neither you see a north star, nor you know how to read the constellations to find your way in the dark sky.

The positive side is you are just lost and it is not the end of the journey. So eventually, you will find a way or you'll make one while being on the trail of lost thoughts. Once, you get hold of that one thought which you want to write about, everything flows like a river descending from the glacier, frozen but carrying immense power to drown anything that comes in its way as it melts.

Writing is nothing but melting in the emotions. Emotions that were previously avoided, discarded, were not given due importance or have never been felt. Emotions could be raw or rusted in time-lapse. Writing both kinds of emotions is difficult, but when they flow, there is no looking back. And then the writer longs to find an ocean to submerge the weight she has been carrying along the course of this long journey, only to start another one.
