Is planning taking a toll on your mental health?

Is planning taking a toll on your mental health? Is it worth planning when it's going to fail? Well, the answer is yes. A big yes. Even if it fails, planning is still worth doing a task. What's not worth doing is letting your plan control you. What is not worth doing is letting your plan ruin those little joys, those little moments that are worth the shot, though not in your plan. There is always a part of your life that you cannot control. And that uncontrollable part not only affects us mentally but also takes our trust off the planning process. You want to plan but looking at the failure rate, you lose whatever little faith you had in planning.

Failure should not deter you from planning again. Rather what you can do is to not just make  Plan A but also Plan B, Plan C and if required Plan D. Thus reducing the chances of spoiling your mental peace and increasing the chances of optimist behaviour needed to deal with any situation at hand. Life is a mystery box and you can never predict what is coming next. You might not always be prepared for what's coming out of the mystery box. But that is the beauty of life, difficult, unpredictable, and challenging most of the time but fun if you live every moment as it comes. Setbacks hurt, and unpredictability scares but we must still chase our dreams, and live life with passion, hope and joy.

Let hope be your guiding light.
