A Moment of Musing
You are sitting idly, just staring at the wall or ceiling in a blank state. And suddenly you feel the restlessness to take the phone in your hand, scroll without any thought, or just switch between the apps. Why? Just to show people around you that you are busy or up to something. Or is it just the habit to keep yourself busy for no reason?
Why do you want to be up to something all the time?
Shouldn't you ask yourself why you can't sit aimlessly? Why is there pressure on you to keep yourself busy? Who's watching you? And if they see you sitting idly, what will happen? Are you scared that someone will think you are depressed or may just come and ask you about it? Do you fear people will judge you because, out of everyone, you are just sitting or standing, but not doing anything productive or even unproductive? Do you believe people around you will think you have no work, and you will have to give an explanation for it?
Is this a trend you are following? Or is this your obsession with restlessness that you do not want peace for even a few minutes?
A moment of musing. A moment with self in the true sense.
